Waterloo Website Development During COVID-19

Posted in Web Development

Meetings Are Not Possible

Website development sometimes involves multiple meetings between us and our client. At a time where meetings are not possible because of COVID-19 restrictions, we are prepared with communication tools. With businesses closed throughout Canada and the US, their website traffic is typically lower. Now is a good time for web development and website updates. Waterloo Web Works is able to help you through the complete process of web development without in-person meetings. Before the outbreak of COVID-19 we have built several complete sites with remote tools and simple phone conversations.

Technology Available for Web Development

Technology is available to make it easy to communicate. With a simple secure link we send to your email address we can be video conferencing in seconds, with minimal setup via Zoom. If needed we can remote access your PC and set things up for you, using AnyDesk. Large files can be exchanged with our OneDrive account, or by using DropBox or GoogleDrive cloud storage. Easy payment options are available through QuickBooks and e-Transfers. There is nothing stopping us from completing your website despite COVID-19.

Waterloo Web Works and COVID-19

Waterloo Web Works is committed to help fight COVID-19 by following the directions from the Canadian Ministry of Health and the Region of Waterloo. Our office is closed but we are working remotely from home and staying inside as asked. Business is slow as people focus on more important things, and rightly so. We look forward to the time when we can meet together in person, but until then we will make the best of the tools available to meet in cyber-space.

In an effort to assist our clients we will not charge to add any message related to COVID-19 on your website. Don’t hesitate to ask. Stay safe everyone, see you soon.
