There are many reasons to only use Licensed Images when building websites. First and foremost, it’s the law. Licensed Images can be purchased from stock image companies like iStock and Adobe Stock photos. Alternatively, you can use images you take yourself if they are good quality. Most importantly, the images you use and their tags must be related to your content because search engines look for this.

So resist the urge to take an image from the internet. Because it will cost you, either through lack of interest or due to the lawsuit that could result from the theft.

Waterloo Web Works only uses images from stock websites, hired photographers or images we take ourselves.
